'Green Unplugged' online film festival seeks entries
Culture Unplugged Studios, the organisation behind, Asia's & Middle East's first online film festival: Festival 08 : East Speaks, Here..., announced another film festival 'Green Unplugged'.
"We are at present in process of launching Green Unplugged - with focus on life, culture and nature. It is to be launched in December, 2008," says a publicity note, issued by Culture Unplugged. Entries are invited. Read more »

The 2009/I0 UK Film Council Short Film Completion Fund is now open for submissions. The total annual fund available to the short film Completion Fund 2008/09 is £70,000. There will be two invitations for applications during 2008/09, and up to 14 films may be offered funding. Read more »
Berlinale Talent Campus - open for applications
The Berlinale Talent Campus, part of the 59th Berlin International Film Festival, is now open for applications from emerging filmmaking talent from around the world. The campus will take place between the 7 and 12 February 2009. The deadline for applications is 8 October 2008. Read more »

UK Shorts Fund 2008-2009
